Nexus Creative at the AIA Westchester + Hudson Valley Expo
The Nexus Creative team attended the AIA Westchester + Hudson Valley Expo in Tarrytown as both participants and contributors, spending the day connected to the broader design community while supporting the Chapter as members and volunteers.
Held at the Westchester Marriott, EXPO2026 brought together architects, consultants, and industry professionals for a full day of seminars, networking, and conversation. As the Chapter’s 90th anniversary event, the Expo continues to serve as a central point for connecting across disciplines, sharing ideas, and staying current with the issues shaping the built environment.
As part of the program, Jaclyn Tyler, AIA, spoke alongside Julie Torres Moskovitz, AIA on Lessons from New York’s Affordable Housing Engagement. The session offered a look at how advancing affordable housing is increasingly shaped by early collaboration—bringing together design professionals, policy leaders, and community stakeholders before the approvals process begins.
A day focused on staying engaged, supporting the Chapter, and continuing the conversation around how projects move forward.
